iPads already support purposeful learning across applicable grades. From 2027, the Academy is expanding this use into a broader school-managed digital learning environment. Technology supports educator-led teaching; it does not replace it. The Academy configures and manages learner devices for educational use.

- Learners work within one school-managed device environment centred on purposeful learning.
- Home
- Parents use the controls made available by the Academy. School device-management rules remain authoritative.
Jamf Parent
Home controls, within school rules.
Parent controls,where permitted.
Da Silva Academy will provide parents with access to Jamf Parent where appropriate. Home controls operate only within permissions configured by the Academy and never override school device management.
Apps
Allow or restrict applications where the school’s settings permit it.
Functionality
Restrict available device functionality within the managed environment.
Rules
Create appropriate app and device rules for use at home.
Time
Manage access during appropriate times such as homework or bedtime.
Focus
Restrict distracting applications where school settings allow.
Setup instructions and access details will be communicated by the Academy when the programme is ready for families.
